5 Element acupuncture

Within 10 needles, without retention of needle, plus moxibustion, profound effect for mind, spirit and body

Five Element Acupuncture is a TCM approach that utilizes the five elements for diagnosis and treatment. It's a holistic method addressing the mind and body.

Originating from the "Huangdi Neijing" (Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon), this TCM tradition is concise and profound. Starting with meridians, it employs gentle and painless needle techniques with immediate effects for both physical and mental ailments.

Not only does Five Element Acupuncture treat physical conditions, but it also adjusts one's mental state. The term "mental state" encompasses emotions, personality, worldview, and values, such as anger, sadness, irritability, low mood, depression, and overall imbalance.

Moreover, by observing the five elements, we develop enhanced sensitivity and insight into ourselves and others. This may lead to a wiser and more harmonious life.

The silver needle dances with the sound waves, delivering a tranquil and profound energy into the body

Acuryhthm© is a treatment combining acupuncture with singing bowl. The sound emitted by the singing bowl soothes restless nerves, and the gentle vibrations make acupuncture stimulation feel soothing and comfortable. From now on, acupuncture no longer remains a treatment that induces tension at the mere thought of it; it can also be a profound relaxation experience where the body and mind synchronize.

seed-sized moxibustion

Despite its small size as a wheat grain, the moxa stick has the ability to expel deep-seated coldness within the body

The practice of moxibustion with small moxa sticks has been widely used for over 2000 years. The moxa wool is first rolled into small wheat-grain-sized sticks, and then placed on acupuncture points located on the surface of the skin. The moxa stick is then ignited, and when the heat reaches the body's tolerance level, it is immediately removed. This technique ensures that the skin is not burned while simultaneously providing a powerful penetrating force that imparts a strong and comforting warmth to the body.

cupping/guasha

By applying stimulation to the meridians on the body's surface, it causes minor subcutaneous bleeding (the marks), releasing stasis, pathogenic factors, and toxins from the body, thereby promoting metabolism and blood circulation.

  • Cupping: By creating a vacuum inside the cup and lifting the skin and muscles, it brings pathogenic factors to the surface.

  • Gua sha: Using a water buffalo horn or jade scraping tool to scrape the surface of the skin, it targets pathogenic factors in the deeper layers.
