Hi, nice to meet you here.

I am a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, but I’m not “Traditional”

Do you imagine that in your mind, the image of a TCM practitioner is an elderly person, dressed in long robes, speaking cautiously, yet capable of uncovering all your secrets with just a pulse diagnosis? Well, I am quite different from that image. What I truly hope for is to have more meaningful conversations between us. In my consultation room, I want you to feel at ease, to let go of any defences, and speak your mind freely. And I will do my best to explain the principles of TCM in a way that is easily understandable, sharing with you the purpose of each step of the treatment and the benefits of every herbal prescription. My sincere desire is to genuinely listen to the depths of your soul, providing holistic care for your mind, body, and spirit, rather than focusing solely on the physical aspect of healing.

And The Story Begins…

After graduating from the School of Chinese Medicine of Baptist University in 2017, I started my own practice of Chinese medicine. I didn't find my favourite clinical direction at first, but thanks to the opportunity of my first job, I met many elderly patients who came to seek help from TCM because of pain. The more I got to know them, I noticed that most of them live alone, and their ailments are not only from the body, but more from the heart. Then, I gradually developed a strong interest in understanding the relationship between body and mind, and began to study psychotherapy and psychological counselling. I hope to do my best to integrate psychological counselling into TCM treatment, so as to embark on a clinical path that is different from the past. To me, patients are more like my teachers. In many cases, not only am I helping them, but they are also nourishing and healing me. Therefore, I hope that I can be a fellow traveller of my patients, accompany them, and grow up with them together.
